What is OfferMeJobs?OfferMeJobs is a unique type of job site. It has been created with a new concept in mind: you sign-up and use our services throughout your working life, not just when you are actively looking for a job. Your identity is hidden to recruiters until you decide otherwise, so even if you have a job you can sit back and wait for offers to come in. Let's face it, there's always something that can be improved, not least your salary. What is the Intuition search engine?We have gone to great lengths to make sure recruiters can find the right people for their job. We do this by capturing information in a pretty clever way. Most job sites work using basic text matching. If you've included the skill "Microsoft Excel" in your CV but a recruiter searches for "MS Excel", you may be missed by their text search. Similarly, if you include the job role "computer programmer" but a recruiter searches for "software engineer" you will almost certainly be missed. OfferMeJobs uses it's Intuition engine to learn what other skills and roles a recruiter should searching for and presenting all relevant candidates. This means better coverage for you and less time wasted for recruiters! Are my personal details shown?No; not unless you decide that a recruiter can see them. This goes for your name as well as your contact details. How do I get job offers?Recruiters search the site by skill, industry, title, salary expectations, location, and so on. They are then presented with a list of potential candidates who they will look through. You receive a notification if they shortlist you. Once you log in, OfferMeJobs shows you the list of recruiters who might be interested in discussing an opportunity with you. If you're interested, you release your details, leaving the recruiter to make a final decision about whether they want to progress the discussion. It's as simple as that! I am happy in my job at the moment, should I take my details off?There's no need. We use a simple traffic light system which shows your current level of interest in being offered jobs. Green means you're actively looking! Amber means you're happy at present but would be interested in offers. Red means please don't contact me. I have just changed jobs. Can I update my details?Yes, at any time. In fact we recommend updating your details every few years and will prompt you about this. How much does it cost?OfferMeJobs is free for people to list their details on. Only recruiters pay a fee for use. I only work Part-Time/Temporary Contract is this for me?Absolutely, recruiters use the site to find Permanent, Full time, Temporary, Contract and Casual staff. I am a student and don't have any work experience can OfferMe help me find a Job?Yes it can! Recruiters will be looking at industries, categories and skills and you can identify the industries and categories you could and would like to work in. As your career moves on you can update your latest job roles. The benefit of listing your details now is that you can keep your work history in one place throughout your career! |
